No, Thank You is the latest ending song from the anime K-On!!, which is one of my favorites, though I admit I have to catch up on the current season. I think this is one of the best and strongest songs to come out of the show yet.

Things I Love Thursdays are where I share the things that I really loved this past week with you! Many across the blogosphere do these, and who am I to turn down a fun way to share stuff?

Visits from awesome people: My boyfriend, who lives roughly 100 miles away, is coming up this weekend, and then I’m going back down to NJ with him for a few days before we both leave (him for CA, and me returning home to CT). I’m really excited and we set some fun stuff to do, like checking out one of the casinos up here in Connecticut and an aquarium, since I love cute animals. I’ll try to remember to take pictures to share!

Sucker Punch Excitement : I am stoked for this movie, I think it’s going to be awesome. A lot of people are skeptical about Vanessa Hudgens, but I think she’s adorable and it’ll be a good, different role for her. Emily Browning as the lead (Babydoll) seems promising too. Can’t wait! (It also doesn’t help that it’s being done by the same people as 300, so it’s bound to be nuts!)

Inception: Saw this with my buddy Heather on Sunday! It was a trip and a half and a great movie, very thought provoking. It’s definitely something you will be thinking about for a while afterwards. I can’t wait to watch it again, though I figure I’ll wait for the DVD to come out.

I love cute planners! I keep buying planners with the intention of using them, use them religiously for a few days, and once the weekend comes, I never pick them up again. It drives me nuts and I really need to knock it off.

I’m so jealous of people like Gala Darling who are so organized, and seem to effortlessly keep up to date with cute planners and have everything in order. As for myself, I generally end up working off of small to-do lists written in notebooks on my desk, but while they’re functional, they’re not particularly interesting to look at.

For the month of August, I’m going on an organizational challenge. I’ve decided on a few goals for myself, using the cute planner above. The stickers didn’t come with it, they’re just for added motivation.

Consistently make and use to-do lists for each week

Use my planner for day-to-day appointments and such

Use the cashbook in my planner to keep track of money on the go (I keep track of this stuff online, but not on paper)

I’ll try to give updates throughout the month, and I’ll look back and see how I fared in September.

How do you keep organized?

Note: Videos could be sorta NSFW, (and you shouldn’t be on YouTube at work anyway!) so watch with caution.

Morning Musume is a popular girl group in Japan with rotating members, where some girls “graduate” and move on, and new ones come and replace them. Most of their hits depend on their being cute and sweet, so I was a bit taken aback by this single.

Wait a second, I think I’ve seen something like this recently… (Continue after the jump!)

There’s a really popular Vocaloid song, normally sung by Hatsune Miku, called Romeo and Cinderella, which was the first thing I thought of when I saw the lyrics for the above song. I might just be nuts, but both have some similar themes and whatnot (particularly the princess stuff), and Morning Musume has not gone down this route before.

Though why do most popular Vocaloid songs have to have sad twists at the end? I want a happy ending once in a while.

Are there some similarities here, or is it all in my head?
