The 1880′s, that is.
Today’s free mp3 album on Amazon.com is I Love the ’80s volume 1, the 1880′s. It’s several hours of classical music that you haven’t heard before in VBR mp3s that you don’t have to pay a dime for. It’s perfect for playing when you’re doing your homework, annoying your emo roommate, if you need to put a ridiculously pompous song to your family picture slideshow, or if you really need to impress that 19th century music history major on your date tonight.
In all seriousness, it’s free, can expand your musical horizons, and if you don’t care for it, you can delete everything without feeling like you’re wasting money. Personally, I like Amazon’s mp3 store better than iTunes so I like using them whenever possible anyway.
