Things have been pretty darn quiet here the past few weeks because my life has done a total 180! In a few more days, maybe a week, I’ll be stabilized and I’ll explain it all in detail as I start a new chapter in my life.
Until then…
Last time, I really had trouble sitting down and writing stuff on the blog. My friend (hi Lenard) said I needed a theme, and I finally figured out one last night.
Once I started my senior year of college, I was able to spend some time and money on my budding audiophile habit. I’m on my second pair of nice headphones, I have a vintage pair to repair, and I now know the wonders of portable headphone amplifier (just ordered a new one today). This is something I find interesting enough to write about, and it will encourage me to learn more about the technical stuff, probably.
I’m also expanding my musical tastes a little bit as well, so the other posts will be songs and albums that are interesting me at the time.
Considering that I spend most of the day with headphones over my ears and music playing, this will probably be more successful than my last attempt! Look forward to some new stuff.

As you might have noticed, the mySQL database for my domain gave in last week or so; I’m not sure why. As a result, I had to scrap everything and now I’m starting from scratch again. I didn’t look around for backups for the layout yet, but I know I have a few. I don’t have backups of any of the content, though, so that’s more annoying. I’ll get to work on this in the following week, though.
On the upside, I do have another job interview this week! It will be with a ladies’ boutique in New Haven, CT, and if I get the job, I would be working as part of their ecommerce team, as they run an online store as well. I found the ad on Craigslist and it looked good just from the description, and once I found out the store’s name and checked out the clothing, it looked even better. Wish me luck on that!
Have a good Labor Day weekend~
